About Artisan Restaurant

An introduction from the chef and owner

My name is Derek Mather and I have opened my own restaurant called Artisan

I produce food freshly cooked with produce from local suppliers (where possible) and have a varied menu to suit all tastes; our menus change every fortnight.

I also have an extensive array of malt whiskies to suit the connoisseur from the Highlands and Islands and Speyside to the Lowlands; the selection is expanding all the time. We also have a varied selection of fine wines.

I have worked locally for a number of years and employ local, friendly staff. We are also a child-friendly restaurant.

I hope that we will see you soon so that you can share the ambience and enjoy a dining experience at Artisan.

We can also cater for family occasions, Christenings, Communions, birthdays and also funerals.
